In 2024, we lost a beloved member of the Evansville Chapter Izaak Walton League, Walt Koch. Walt was a long time member and driving force, a great friend to many, and as this memorial bench states, a true sportsman. This memorial bench was recently completed thanks to the diligence of one of our dedicated members and fellow friend of Walt's, Ken Yeager. Thank you, Kenny!

Hello, Ikes! Two important annoucements: john boat drawing and August calendar of events!

For the members who joined during our membership drive at the Open House and the Southern Indiana Outdoor Expo, we drew for the winner of the free John boat at the last board meeting (7/24). The winner is Nathan Head! Congratultions!

Your August Calendar of Events for EVV IWLA are as follows:
August 2nd: 5 Bird Trap Shoot - breakfast at 8AM and shooting starts at 9AM
August 22nd: Work Day - 9am-12pm
August 27th: Board of Directors Meeting - 7pm

Hello, Ikes!

Here are scheduled events for the month of July:

Sunday July 5th, 5-Bird Trap Shoot, 9am

Clubhouse & Shotgun fields CLOSED (other than 5 -Bird on Sunday, clubhouse will still be closed) July 3 thru July 10, caretakers on vacation. Lakes, property, and pistol & rifle ranges still open to members.

Club work day July 18th, 9am-1pm

Board of Directors Meeting Thursday July 28th, 7pm
