Please help us welcome lellayoung to the DMACC Dance Team for the 2026–2027 season! 💙🖤

“My name is Lella, and I’m so excited to be a part of DMACC dance team for the 2026/2027 season! I have been dancing since I was 4 years old, originally focusing mainly on ballet while also training in many other styles. During my senior year, I joined my local high school dance team and completely fell in love with team dance.
I was homeschooled my whole life and raised on my family’s ranch. Along with dance, I also swam competitively for 12 years and went to state my freshman and sophomore year. My faith is also a huge part of my life and something very important to me. Outside of dance, my hobbies are spending time with my family and friends, making TikToks, shopping, going to the gym and hanging out with my animals. I also love to travel and have been to 9 different countries! I'm most excited to meet all the girls, grow together as a team, and make so many fun memories this year! A fun fact about me is that I’ll be graduating high school with my cosmetology license, and I’m so excited to do the girls’ hair, spray tans and any services they need during the school year! ”

Please help us welcome to the DMACC Dance Team for the 2026–2027 season! 💙🖤

“Hi!! My name is Kaley Murphy and I am very excited to be member of the DMACC Dance Team for the 2026-2027 season! I graduated from Mount Ayr High school where I have been involved in multiple activities including dance, track and field, FFA, and many other clubs and groups! Believe it or not, but I have only been dancing for three years. I did some tumbling when I was very young, but stopped after a couple of years. I joined the Mount Ayr Sparks Drill Team during my sophomore year of high school and fell in love!! My favorite style of dance is Pom because I love the sharpness and boldness of it. During my years at DMACC I plan to major in nursing to hopefully achieve my RN. Some of my hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, taking naps, shopping, getting fun drinks, jamming out in the car, watching Grey’s Anatomy, making TikToks, and going on drives. I have a big sweet tooth and love going out for sweet treats as well! My favorite color is pink and my favorite animal is a raccoon! I am super excited for this season and by briefly talking with the other girls, I know this year will be one to never forget! Go bears! 💙”

“Hello! My name is Kaylee Oberholtz and I’m a member of the DMACC dance team for the 2026–2027 season. I graduated from Guthrie Center High School where I participated in dance and other school activities. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and have been a competitive dancer for numerous years as well. My favorite style of dance is jazz. I’m majoring in business at DMACC. I’m the youngest of my brother and sister and grew up in a farming family. I’ve shown numerous animals and have been involved in both 4-H and FFA. My faith in Christ is an important part of my life. Some of my hobbies include shopping, spending time with my boyfriend and our puppy, hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, trying fun Starbucks drinks, going to the movies, and getting takeout. I also love powdered donuts and ice cream, especially cookies n cream. My favorite color is pink and my favorite season is summer. I’m excited to meet everyone, grow as a team, and make great memories this season.”

This year’s DMACC Dance Team showed what it truly means to be committed, resilient, and united. From the long practices to team dinners, from the halftimes to the competition floors, every moment was filled with passion, growth, and an unwavering belief in each other.

You didn’t just dance — you built something that will live on long after this season. You raised the standard, strengthened the culture, and created a foundation that future Bears will be proud to carry forward.
