It's been a wild week. We kicked it off by harvesting cherries and putting them to use in a delicious dessert. We wrapped things up by helping family prepare for the West Fork of the Des Moines River to crest.

We're looking forward to geting back into the rod shop early this week!

Here's the 6'8" Medium Ex-Fast rod that we just finished, taking on an 18.5" Smallmouth! This fish was landed and released to fight another day.

We had fun testing this rod in the yard today, before it heads to Canada. It's a smooth rig that "bomb" casts! We were consistently hitting 50 yards with 6lb mono and a 3/8oz casting plug.
