Great opportunity coming up to learn from an NCAA all-American! Ogden High School Girls Wrestling

When I first planned this camp, my vision was to have a one-hour session for our K–6 wrestlers and a separate two-hour session for grades 7–12.

The more I thought about it, the more I realized I didn’t want to shortchange our younger wrestlers. Every athlete deserves the same opportunity to learn from one of the best in the sport.

Because of that, I’ve decided to make one change: there will be a single three-hour camp for all wrestlers.

This gives everyone the same experience, the same instruction, and the same chance to learn and grow together. I truly believe this will make the camp even better, and I can’t wait to see everyone on the mat!

We have enough K–6 wrestlers registered to ensure everyone has plenty of partners to drill with, which was an important factor in making this decision.

I realize that three hours is a big ask for our younger wrestlers. If your child gets tired or loses interest during the camp, please don’t hesitate to leave early if that’s what’s best for them.

That said, I truly believe it’s important that every wrestler, regardless of age, has the same opportunity to learn from one of the best in the sport. I think this format will provide the best experience for everyone.

Harper Zimmer and Lily Crowden participated in the Iowa games today!! Unfortunately with the lower girl numbers they had to wrestle each other but it’s always a good day when you get extra mat time in a competitive environment.

Same wall, same club, bigger family. The first picture is year one. Second picture is this past season. The growth comes from hard work, dedication, laughs, smiles, positive experiences, early tournament mornings, hair braiding sessions,long tournament days/weekends with snacks to share, crowding mats cheering on teammates, feral wrestling siblings, post tournament family meals, hotel pool parties, and a group who loves growing together!

Big things are coming to BWC girls this season!!!

We had 3 ladies make the trek down to Pella to participate in the faith and wrestling camp Pella Girls Wrestling put on an incredible camp. All 3 clinicians, Lily luft, Megan Black, and Rachel Watters, had great testimonies, life lessons, and showed some great techniques! Even had a special guest speaker, Cyclone Rtc athlete Mia Palumbo! Remember that name! Representation matters and it doesn’t get much better than this lineup! Highly recommend attending this clinic next year!
