Meet Coach Taryn- Your 4/5 Head Cheer Coach!

Hey Wolfpack families! ❤️

I’m Taryn, the Head Coach for the 4/5 team this year!

I’m a mom of four, mortgage lender, community builder, event host, and yes… usually running from one kid activity to the next. 😅 Between helping families become homeowners, creating events that bring people together, and cheering on my own kids, life is definitely full.

One thing I love most is being involved in the community and helping create spaces where people feel connected, supported, and encouraged. That’s a big part of why I’m excited to coach this season.

Cheer has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I cheered growing up and was a proud Riverside Ravens cheerleader, so getting the opportunity to now coach the next generation is incredibly special to me.

I’m looking forward to helping these athletes build confidence, learn new skills, make friendships, and have a blast along the way. Cheer has a way of teaching resilience, teamwork, and self-belief that lasts far beyond the mat, and I’m honored to be part of that journey with your kiddos.

Can’t wait for a fun season together! 🐺📣

🏈 Meet Coach John John – Your 3/4 Head Coach 🏈

We’re excited to introduce Coach John John as the Head Coach for our 3/4 Division this season!

Coach John John is entering his third year of coaching and brings both experience and passion to the Wolfpack sidelines. His football journey includes playing at the University of Puget Sound, where he developed a strong foundation in the game and a love for teamwork and leadership.

When asked what he enjoys most about coaching, Coach John John shared:

“My favorite part about coaching is helping people grow in confidence, seeing their hard work pay off, and succeed together.”

We’re grateful to have Coach John John leading our young athletes this season and helping them grow both on and off the field.

Drop a 🐺 in the comments and help us welcome Coach John John to the 2026 Wolfpack season!

Meet Coach Sonia- Your 3/4 Head Cheer Coach ⭐️

This season marks my third year coaching youth sports and my first season as Head Coach of the Wolfpack 3rd/4th Grade Cheer team.

Before coaching, I owned and operated a training and development company where I focused on leadership, team culture, and creating environments where people could grow and succeed. Those experiences continue to shape my coaching philosophy today.

My number one goal is to protect the athlete experience and honor the investment families make in our program. Whether that investment comes in the form of time, finances, volunteer hours, or simply showing up week after week, I take that responsibility very seriously. I believe every athlete deserves a positive, organized, and meaningful experience where they feel supported, challenged, and celebrated.

I am passionate about helping young athletes build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills that will serve them both on and off the field.

Outside of cheer, I'm a wife, mom of two, digital marketer, and creative at heart. I enjoy traveling with my family, DIYing with my Cricut Maker, and finding new adventures wherever I can. Fun fact I spent 13 years playing violin, a decade dancing and cheered for the Federal Way Hawks for two seasons. lol

My coaching motto is simple:

✨ "We can do hard things... with glitter." ✨

I'm excited for the season ahead and look forward to helping our athletes grow, build friendships, and create lasting memories together.

Meet Coach K – Your 1/2 Head Coach

Having lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years, football and coaching have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I played football from 4th grade through my senior year of high school and later spent a year coaching as an assistant coach in Hawaii.

I’m a proud father of five kids — three daughters and two sons. My oldest son, Micah, recently graduated through the Wolfpack program after playing four years of tackle football and three years of 7v7. During his time with Wolfpack, I served as an assistant coach for all four tackle seasons, coaching linebackers, offensive line, and defensive line. I also coached 7v7 football for three years, including one year as head coach.

Over the last four years, Wolfpack has become a huge part of my life. In addition to coaching, I served as Equipment Manager for three years and currently serve on the Wolfpack board. I’m excited to now start the journey through the program again with my six-year-old son, Noah.

I’m passionate about giving back to the younger generation through coaching, mentoring, and volunteering in my community, and I look forward to continuing to support the growth of Wolfpack athletes both on and off the field.
