Join us this Thursday, 6:45pm at Reflection Park in for a free, all-levels, community yoga class.

We are partnering with the Tehaleh Community Life team to bring you a relaxing summer evening of yoga at one of Tehaleh’s hidden gem parks - Reflection Park.

This park is tucked quietly away behind Wesley Homes. If you search “Reflection Park Bonney Lake” in your maps app, it will direct you to the right location. You can also punch in 15040 179th Ave E, Bonney Lake, WA 98391.

Please bring along a yoga mat. We also encourage you to invite a friend or neighbor! Please reach out with any questions.

Good news, we built a class for that! Read on


Our new Running Economy class - held on Fridays at 5:30am and 9:30am - is a gradual, progressive 14-week series designed to help you become a more efficient, confident runner. We will use tempo-style intervals to improve your endurance, pacing, and ability to sustain effort while making running feel smoother and more manageable.

Whether you’re brand new to running or looking to get faster and more efficient, this class meets you where you’re at. Workouts are performed on a looping course so no one gets left behind, no one gets compared to anyone else, and everyone gets the training stimulus they need.

This isn’t about suffering through miles. It’s about learning to move more efficiently, building your aerobic engine, and discovering that running can actually feel good.

For those of you working toward a HYROX race, this class is high priority. This series has you peaking right around our Full Simulation on 8/29 and the SLC HYROX. Get there!

This week 5:30am will be at Tehaleh Heights Elementary and 9:30am will be at Sprouts Holler. Once school is out, we will move 9:30am over to THE so kids can safely play and we have a more expansive space to run.

“I’m in shape, but I’m not in THAT shape!” đŸ„” may very likely be the thought going through your head this week.

Here is a deal. Training is mode specific. Someone might be able to run a marathon, but then they can’t back squat their bodyweight. Or a person may be able to deadlift 500lbs, but would be wrecked trying to run a 5K. Being “in shape” isn’t one thing.

We have just switched our focus here at EVOLVE from more of a strength focus, to now more of an endurance focus. With this switch in training focus, you’re likely to feel humbled
 and a bit more sore. This doesn’t mean you’re out of shape. It means you’re targeting different functional properties of fitness and different energy systems. This is the whole point of why we take this periodization approach to our training. Our goal is to keep your body dynamic and your fitness well rounded.

So when you’re getting served that slice of humble pie at workout this week, know that it’s a sign you’re expanding your capacity. đŸ’Ș
