As this chapter on Prime Fitness closes we have heard from our members all the stories of what this gym has meant to them. The good times and the bad. Friends made and lost. It has been a wonderful and wild ride. We would like to invite our members to share their Prime Fitness story and or say goodbye here. We will miss you all!

Fitness Quest and Bridget (Prime Fitness General Manager) wants to welcome you to Fitness Quest!

Fitness Quest has invited all group instructors and staff members to transfer to our locations (Puyallup, Auburn, and Tacoma). We will have an updated schedule with your instructors coming soon!

Please join us this SATURDAY for our Summer Fitness Day! From 9am-1pm we will offer free kids club and day passes to all Prime Fitness Members and Former Members. Please come and enjoy our gym and scheduled events:
9am Bootcamp
10am Nutrition Seminar and free smoothies
11am Yoga
12pm Family Friendly Bootcamp

We will have staff and trainers available for tours, fitness assessments, and program designs. We will also have an Enrollment Day August 8th (TUESDAY) with staff available 9am-9pm for tours, fitness assessments, program designs, and scheduling free personal training!

Prime Fitness Family,

One thing we have been concerned with is making sure our fitness family has a place to call home moving forward. We only wanted to recommend a gym that would be a community like ours, with great ownership, new equipment and amenities and offer a price point that our members deserve. We feel we have found that. We have partnered up with Fitness Quest. Fitness Quest is a local family-owned fitness facility with three locations: Puyallup, Auburn and University Place. We have toured the facility in Puyallup and are impressed with the state-of-the-art equipment, variety of amenities, various spaces for specific training and group fitness classes as well as ease of parking and it is not far from Prime Fitness. We have also negotiated for our Prime Family an incredible rate of $19/month and they will be waiving all initiation and processing fees. This is a month-to-month membership with no long-term contract required, and your monthly dues will be guaranteed for as long as you remain a member of Fitness Quest. There will also be an
opportunity for you to upgrade to the Platinum membership which includes all the group fitness classes and amenities like tanning and the hydromassage chairs for an additional $10/month. Fitness Quest is open 24 hours a day Monday – Friday and 8am-8pm on Saturday and Sunday. Fitness Quest also offers Kid’s Club for an additional fee.

You will be able to have your questions answered and sign up for your membership now in our lobby at Prime Fitness starting tomorrow, Thursday 7.27.23, 9am-12pm and 4-6pm. You can also enroll at the Puyallup location at 1710 E. Main, Puyallup, WA. Your point of contact at the Fitness Quest Puyallup location will be Jake Swartz 253-315-5930 or [email protected].

We are also happy to say Fitness Quest ownership is also excited to interview and bring on as many of our front desk staff and instructor team as possible. This was also important to us because we are family and family sticks together. Familiar faces and fitness formats will make this transition smoother.

Dear Prime Fitness Member and Guests

We are sorry to announce that Prime Fitness will be permanently closing its doors on Aug 7th. As many of you know, the Rainier Professional Plaza has been for sale for quite some time. It has just been sold. Unfortunately, the new buyers have just notified us of their decision to discontinue our lease. This comes after 17 years of operation so you can imagine how very difficult this is for everyone involved. You have all become like family. We have watched friendships develop, kids grow up and lives change. We will miss our Fitness Family and the community we have built here at Prime Fitness. We thank you all for choosing our club and for making us a part of your lives. We have made good friends and great memories, and we hope that we have provided our members and the community with the help and support you have all needed.

Please be assured that we are working with our billing company now on the financial side of things. All Paid in Full memberships, training and services will be prorated and refunded through the club. Those who have paid dues through July 7, 2023, will no longer be billed. Dues for those who paid July 8th-20th, 2023 will be prorated through August 6th and will be refunded. Dues for those billed on August 21-31st will be prorated. New members who have recently signed up after July 7th will be refunded pre-paid dues. Our hours of operation, class schedule and staff will remain in place up until our closure date of August 6th, 2023, at 4pm.

Our front desk staff however, will NOT be able to answer your questions regarding dues or refunds at this time. They themselves just received the news and do not have any information to share. Please reach out to me directly at the above email address with your questions and I will answer them as best as I can. We will do our best to communicate to our members via email and through our club automation system as we move through this process and as information becomes available.

Thank you again for being a Prime Fitness member. We will miss everyone!!!
