Sorry I have been MIA. My wife and I took a campground host job at Silver Mines Recreation Area. The St Francis River runs. Through it. Great fishing.

Fall is upon us and it is my favorite time of year to fish. I haven’t done an all nighter this year and I miss that. I haven’t because I’m afraid to leave my truck parked overnight in the CA area because I’m afraid someone will steal my catalytic converter. There is a lot of it going on. Am I just being paranoid or are any of you afraid of the same thing?

Got to fish Bootleg a couple times in the last 4 weeks. Caught quite a few but nothing of any size.

A few I caught at Bootleg Access a couple of weeks ago. Nothing big but caught them on fly rod. What a blast.

My ankle has healed up pretty well so I am going to start kayaking the Big again. Presently in process of moving to Belgrade just 3 miles from Big River Bootleg Access. Fished it a couple of weeks ago with a fly rod and had a blast. I quit counting at 18. No size to them. Caught one smallie. Hope to get out there this weekend early one morning.
I hope to generate enough activity to get folks posting on here.
