ATTENTION DANCE FAMILY....
Friday is the Bolivar Homecoming Parade. And I was unaware of the early out Friday's , so I put the wrong times in the newsletter. So I copied the new information and timeline below from the email I received from the high school. I can pick up kids from the Intermediate school, but I need you to contact the school by Thursday and let them know I will be picking them up. I also need you to text me your childs name, grade and teacher so I know to put them on my list. You are welcome to send candy with your child to hand out at the parade. If your child wants tot hand out candy, they have to walk and not ride on the float. Parents are allowed to ride on the float. We will meet parents at the water tower across from the Baptist church at the end of the parade for pick up. Riders can wear their Bolivar colors or Center Stage Colors. Don't forget to let me know if your child needs me to pick them up at the Intermediate school. 417-327-4790.
Dear Parade Participants,Thank you for participating in this year's Homecoming Parade! Please review the schedule and logistical details below to ensure a smooth arrival, staging, and parade route experience.Event Timeline12:10 PM: Homecoming Assembly begins in BHS Gym12:15 PM: Parade lineup and float staging begin at the Liberator Park parking lot. 12:50 PM: Homecoming Assembly ends.1:30 PM: Parade officially begins!Arrival & Staging Logistics (Refer to Map)Float Arrival: Head North on N. Hartford Ave. toward Liberator Park.Float Entrance: Turn West at the south entrance into the Liberator Park staging lot (just north of the football field/track). This is super important as we will be using the north entrance to the parking lot for floats exiting into the parade line. Follow the green path to park and prepare your float in the staging area.Staging & Wait Area: Park and wait in the staging area until line-up/start time.Non-Parade Vehicle Parking: If you are driving a personal vehicle to join a float (and the vehicle is not riding in the parade itself), please park on the west end of the Liberator Park parking lot to keep the staging pathways clear.Parade Departure: At 1:30 PM, floats will exit the parking lot via the north driveway, head East across Hartford Ave. onto W. College St., and then turn South onto College St. to proceed along the main parade route.Please see the attached map for a visual guide on the arrival path, entrance, staging area, and exit route.
