In 2011, we started Garrison’s Hardcore Fitness in a small office building with a bench, a few dumbbells, a bike, and a treadmill.

What began as a simple setup has grown into a personal and group training facility built from the ground up, slowly, intentionally, and without debt.

We’re a husband-and-wife team who have poured everything into this place. Over the past 15 years, we’ve grown. Our clients have grown. Our vision has grown …which is why we have decided to make a slight change to our business name.

We have built more than a gym. We’ve built a community of incredible people who show up, work hard, and support each other. Our space is comfortable, welcoming, and real.

What we do isn’t always about being “hardcore.” It’s about consistency. It’s about building strength that lasts. It’s about long-term health and coaching that meets people where they are.

We appreciate each and every one of you who is, or has ever been, part of our gym!

Shoutout to my friend and client, Krysten Bartshe-Clardy because it deserves all the hype!!

Huge congratulations for finishing her first HYROX!! And not just finishing, but absolutely showing up!
Alongside her amazing partner, Jaimee Rhodes, they placed 16 out of 180 teams, 1st in their age group and 2nd overall in their heat!!

You both earned every bit of this!! 🔥🔥

Week 1 of my 21 day reset is in the books and I’m honestly so grateful for the feedback coming in!

Mid-week pep talk😀

Let’s talk about habits!
The goal isn’t to create a plan that only works on your best days. The goal is to build habits that you’ll do even on your worst days. A five minute walk, stretching on your floor, drinking your water, or being intentional about your protein once a day. Those small things matter more than you know.
If you tell yourself you have 30 minutes for workout or walking, it’s easier to quit when life gets heavy. but 5 minutes? Most days you can do that! And more often than not 5 minutes turns into 10.
Focus on building habits that are doable and you will stick to.
Get used to showing up for yourself even when motivation is low and energy is gone. The main goal here is to do something instead of nothing.

This is for the woman who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or just needs structure and encouragement to get back into a good rhythm.

Just wanted to give a little Wednesday pep talk!

We get so caught up in chasing the “end goal” that we forget it’s the daily wins that build it.
✨ Every workout finished
✨ Every walk taken
✨ Every consistent food choice
That’s progress and proof that you are moving forward. It may not feel dramatic day to day, but it adds up in a big way.
This journey isn’t just about the scale or your clothing size. It’s about building strength, confidence, and trust in yourself. Every time you show up, especially when you don’t feel like it, YOU ARE proving you can do hard things.
Remember, it is your consistency throughout this journey. 1 bad day isn’t going to make or break you. You just have to keep going …the only way you fail is if you quit.

A little bit about us and what we do:
My husband, Corey Garrison, and I (Jessica) own and operate Garrison’s Hardcore Fitness right here in Bolivar. We offer personalized training specific to your ability and goals, and from time to time we also host boot camps, group classes, and challenges.
Most of our clients train with us 1–3 days per week, with sessions lasting 45–60 minutes. If getting to the gym isn’t an option for you, we also offer online training, so you’re never left without support.
We work with all ages and stages of life — from young athletes to adults 60+, including prenatal and postnatal clients. Our biggest focus is meeting you exactly where you are, building a strong core and solid foundation before progressing into more advanced movements.
Here’s how that looks in real life:
* Young athletes: We focus on building strength, endurance, and jump training, tailored to their specific sport.
* Beginners or those returning after time away: We assess where you’re at, then build from there. Our priority is functional, sustainable movement and teaching you how to move well.
* Experienced lifters: We make sure your movement patterns are solid, assess your goals, and challenge you every time you walk through the door.
In our gym, injury prevention matters. Sometimes that means backing off, regressing a movement, working on mobility, or simply taking time to rest — and we fully support that.
We believe training should support your everyday life, not wear you down. Our goal is to help you build consistency, balance food and exercise, and create habits that actually last.
