Hey everyone!!!!!! Next weekend we kick off our bowfishing season with the Travis McCann memorial scholarship shoot. It’s from 2pm to 2am boats have to be off the water by 12am because of Missouri law. Buy in is $100 and that entry fee is put 100% into the scholarship fund. Last year we were able to give out two $1000 scholarships to two very deserving kids. There will be side pots and they do pay back 100% and trophies for big 5 and big 5 shad. If you know of a junior or senior who loves the outdoors get them to write and essay why the outdoors is important to them and what they would use the money for. Get that sent in to us or emailed to [email protected] by April 17th so we can pick a winner before our day time shoot.

Tournament Dates
Travis McCann Scholarship shoot March 28th 2pm till 2am have to be off water at midnight per Missouri law Big 5 and Big 5 shad.

April 25th Day shoot 7am-5pm Truman, LOZ, Pomme, Stockton, table rock, bull shoals only

May 23th Night shoot 6pm - 8am OPEN WATER

June 20th Night shoot 6pm - 8 am OPEN WATER

August 1st Night shoot 6pm - 8 am Table Rock, Truman, Bull Shoals, LOZ, Pomme, Stockton only.

Championship September 12th 6pm - 8am Lake Draw

Dates are pretty locked in tried to wait as long as we could to make sure we didn't interfere with as many tournaments as we could. Lakes subject to change if they do change everyone will have bare minimum a week notice. Make sure to check out the Batson's tournaments, The fallen outdoor shoot, The Backwater battle, as well as the BAA world championship this year is in Arkansas a lot of great tournaments that are really close by.

Thank you to everyone who showed up tonight and shared your opinions and ideas tonight we really appreciate it. This post will have any rule changes the next post will be the dates for the shoots

1. we will be going back to teams don't vote on the lake they want in the championship, instead there will only be 6 options like there was at our first championship. The choices will be Truman, Table Rock, LOZ, Bull Shoals, Pomme and Stockton will be one choice, and open water.

2. we will be adding a free average joe side pot. it'll be whoever is in the middle of the pack after weigh in is done they will get there entry fee back

3. there will be no overall big fish side pot. and we will be adding a big head side pot along with a random side pot that will change each tournament.

4. The entry fee is 150 and 50 goes straight to the championship purse, now however 40 will go straight to the championship purse and 10 will go to the points champion purse.

5. The first day time shoot and the last night time shoot will not be open water. that will be posted with dates and everything.

6. Kyle the owner BA Bowstrings will be donating some money for 1st place youth bow fisherman for the year. Thank you so much sir

Hey everyone we have been informed that there is a couple things going on the same day as the meeting so we will be moving it to the 30th so more people have the opportunity to attend I know there are a lot of people asking about dates I will be posting those in the coming days before the meeting as tentative dates and we can confirm them at the meeting remark you calendars for the 30th at 6 pm.
