Hey everybody!!!!!! Last tournament for the series till the championship shoot. Look forward to seeing you all there this Saturday. Shooting water is LOZ, Truman, Pomme, Stockton, bull shoals, t rock, and yes Taneycomo River (it’s not a lake) is shootable for this shoot.

Points first will be the teams that have atleast three tournaments this year and what there worst score for a single tournament is because you can drop one. The teams with a *next to there names after the first batch have two tournaments and have to shoot the last one to qualify for the tournament. Remember taking the top 8 and then drawing two spots for the teams that have been to all four tournaments. Total of 10 boats for the tournament night.

Hey everyone hope to see you all at the tournament tomorrow. Just so no one is surprised by this, this will be our last open water tournament for the year and forever we will be doing a change for next year and you will hear about it tomorrow. Tell your friends 6pm take off from boons bbq and 8am weigh in.

Reminder for the tournament this weekend it is an open water tournament so wherever you wanna go that’s legal to Bowfish at and has a public boat launch is legal. Check in starts around 4 please show up at the latest at 545 and captains meeting at 5:50 then launch at 6!!!! Can’t wait to see everyone there.

2026 rules
Have to obey all road way, boating and fishing laws where you are fishing or driving to and from.
Take off order is determined by when you arrive to check in. Champions from last year take off first point champions take of second regardless of arrival time.
We will be doing an average joe side that is taken out of the entry fee that everyone is automatically put in for.
Do not cut off or block other people while fishing or driving, have to stay 50ft away from someone if at all possible all allegations of cheating or bad sportsmanship will have to provide a video.
One day time tournament and one night time tournament out of the four will just be the main lakes Pomme, Stockton, Truman, lake of the ozarks, Taneycomo, bullshoals, and table rock the other two will be open water.
Championship night we will draw for the water between those lakes listed above and open water.
You have to be back by check in time every minute you are late is a 5lbs deduction past 20 min you will be disqualified.
Must return in same boat that you left with if you want to bring a back up boat it has to stay at the check in sight and you can come back and switch out as long as you notify someone from the tournament.
Entry fee is $150, $100 of it is put in an envelope to pay top spots that day $40 dollars goes to championship bag, $10 goes to points championship bag.
To qualify for championship you need to do three out of four tournaments we will take the top 8 teams for the championship and two provisional teams will be drawn for if you go to all 4 tournaments you will be put in for the provisional teams automatically if your score isn’t great. So it will be 10 boats total for championship. Point system is like golf lower score the better so if you place 1st three times you have 3 points total. If you do come to all 4 tournaments your best score of three is what will be used.
The format is always a big 5 format with two species so if you only shoot 4 buffalo and no other species you can only weigh one fish because you do not have 2 species.
