Meet our new instructor! Evan Clarke

Evan is an instructor with American Defense LLC and brings over fifteen years of fi****ms-training experience to the team. He served six years in the U.S. Army and went on to work in corrections and law enforcement, gaining firsthand knowledge of defensive tactics, use-of-force standards, and real-world applications of firearm safety.
Throughout his law-enforcement training, Evan consistently qualified at the top of his class, earning “Top Shot” at the Idaho POST Academy and maintaining a perfect qualification record. His lifelong passion for fi****ms began in early childhood and has grown into a career focused on responsible gun ownership and community education.
Evan is NRA-certified as a Pistol Instructor and as a Personal Protection Inside and Outside the Home Instructor. He also has operational and instructional experience with pepper spray, baton, TASER, night-vision systems, and combat-rifle platforms. In addition to teaching, he runs a small YouTube channel and his own fi****ms-training LLC.
As a father and dedicated professional, Evan approaches every class with a serious commitment to safety, clear instruction, and helping students build confidence with their firearm.
