We are the first exclusive Boys Volleyball Club in Idaho. We offer teams for boys ages 8 - 18! Idaho Strike is Idaho's only exclusive Boys Volleyball Club.

Strike is committed to giving an opportunity to the boys in the Oregon/Idaho region to play volleyball at a competitive level. Strike is determined to help the growth of boys volleyball through quality coaching and passionate athletes.

The Idaho Strike crew traded the court for the stands earlier this week and headed out to watch BSU take on BYU! It was an awesome night of spending time together, supporting Boise State, and getting to watch some high-level volleyball right here in the Treasure Valley.

There’s something pretty cool about experiencing the game together outside of practices and tournaments. We had a blast cheering on the Broncos and hanging out as a club before our own season gets underway!

Thanks for a great night, Idaho Strike! And GO BRONCOS!

All tournaments begin at 8:00 AM at Rise Volleyball Academy and are $240 per team.

Get to Know Your Coach: Samuel Yun | 16 Black Head Coach

Coach Samuel Yun brings experience as both a player and coach to Idaho Strike! After playing outside hitter for three years in high school and three years in college, Samuel transitioned into coaching and has spent the past five seasons leading athletes in California and Idaho.

His coaching résumé includes winning a Division 4 Section Championship in 2024 and being selected as an All-Star Head Coach that same year. Now leading our 16 Black team, Samuel loves the speed, athleticism, and excitement of boys volleyball, especially watching athletes compete above the net.

One message you’ll hear often from Coach Samuel? Be coachable. He believes an athlete’s willingness to listen, learn, and make adjustments can make a huge difference in their development.

Away from the court, Samuel can play FIVE instruments, loves spending time with his family and baby girl, and if he weren’t coaching volleyball, you’d probably find him on a basketball court.

We’re excited to have Coach Samuel leading 16 Black this season!

We’re excited to introduce our 2026-2027 Idaho Strike coaching staff! This group brings an incredible mix of experience, knowledge, passion, and dedication to developing athletes both on and off the court.

From teaching the fundamentals to preparing athletes for high-level competition, our coaches are committed to creating an environment where players can grow, compete, and reach their full potential.
