As a native Idahoan I have been camping, fishing, and backpacking in Idaho since childhood. I started making my own hammocks and shelters in 2014 and soon had others asking for custom gear of their own. ips in Idaho. We establish a base camp and explore the area we’re in for a few days. My gear isn’t designed to have the lightest weight possible at any cost. It’s designed to provide simplicity, durability, function and value while keeping in mind that weight is still a very important consideration for all backpackers and outdoors enthusiasts. All gear sold on this site has been designed by me and personally field-tested in the backcountry of Idaho. With the unpredictable weather and remote locations in the Idaho mountains our gear has to work and these designs have proven themselves in the field year after year.
