This is the second group to go through the experience and it honestly feels like one of the most important workshops I’ve helped create.

We are grateful for our attendees .stacey and
You all showed up in a big way and fully committed to your journey even when it got vulnerable 🙏🏼

And also huge gratitude to for being our in-house photographer 🙌🏼

Massive gratitude to my wifey for making sure the space looked amazing, people were well taken care, and our bellies were fueled with healthy and beautiful food.

Massive gratitude to Nick and Sam for our Sound Bath (message me if you need a sound bath in Boise… they are incredible humans)

And I can not understate my gratitude for Drea and her husband Levi for their deep friendship and for always being the best hosts ever when we stay with them. And we can’t forget .mini.wheats for being our snuggly little puppy friend while we are away from our own fur kids!

And so much gratitude to the for providing a really special event space with a deeper purpose 🙏🏼🧡

I work on communication skills a lot in the coaching I do for leaders, and one thing we focus on is getting more curious, asking more questions, and trying to engage the team for their input.

Where this gets tricky…
Have you ever had someone ask you a question but you could feel they really were not available for your answer? It doesn’t feel good does it? It doesn’t feel safe to share our thoughts.

So, we not only have to learn to ask better questions… we also need to learn how to open our hearts and minds to others thoughts and opinions.
AND
If we don’t have the space, it’s better to just not ask the question in that moment… and thats ok! It’s part of the growth and learning necessary to become great communicators and leaders 🙌🏼

Oh, and speaking of Communication… and I just landed on dates for our next in-person Alchemy of Communication course in Boise! October 1st and 2nd 🙌🏼

This Fathers Day took a few days to process.

Losing my father a few years ago was complicated because we hadn’t spoken in close to 20 years. I found my peace with him and I can now honestly say I nothing but love for him. My childhood with him was filled with really beautiful experiences especially around music. I still wish we could have reconnected before he passed… I also accept that our lives didn’t go that way. I miss the early days with him and will hold those moments close to my heart.

This spring, we also said goodbye to my Grandfather who was the central grounding point for us. After my dad and I lost touch, Grandpa was my example of what a Father can be. He made it simple… just love people fully and unconditionally. Unfortunately, my last visit with him only lasted one evening because he and my Grandma got Covid… it was a really hard blow because we knew this was probably the last visit with him. As that hurt wore off, all that is now left is the countless memories of his love, mentorship, and a ton of laughs.

I know many of you reading this had a challenging fathers day for some of the same reasons… loss, complicated relationships, etc…

My hope for you is that your heart can be filled with the warmth of those moments you shared with your fathers as well 🧡

Do you want to evolve your communication?
Well duh, most of us do right? We read books, listen to podcasts, and intend to do things different… yet when it comes down to it, most of the time we fall back into old patterns. Change doesn’t happen because we intend it to… change happens when we put that intention into practice.

My good friend and I are hosting a two-day in person exploration in Boise, ID called the Alchemy of Communication. This is your opportunity to understand your current patterns of internal and external communication… how that is affecting your life, relationships, and even your well-being.
For two days we will explore the science and esoteric wisdom around communication. You will create new habits for both your internal dialogue and your external interactions within the two days and have a lot of fun in a safe and compassionate environment. Most importantly, we will practice… this is definitely not a “sit and listen” kind of event so get ready for action 😆
