After being at full draw for over a minute, Ellie was able to make a fatal shot on this beautiful Idaho boar! The recovery process demanded some patience, but in the end, we got it done. Thankful for the opportunity to take such amazing animals, and have it all documented. 2026 spring bear season is just heating up! 🔥🙌🏼

Bear season update: Thanks to the mild snow year, we’ve been able to get into bear country nearly a month earlier than usual. Since then, it’s been nonstop weekends on the mountain doing everything it takes to stay dialed in. Relocating a bait site because of hunting pressure, cutting fresh sneak trails, and making sure the barrels never run empty.
So far, the bear activity has been encouraging, and we’re starting to see some solid bears showing up consistently on camera. The work is paying off little by little. Now it’s just about staying persistent, keeping the pressure on, and waiting for the right opportunity. Time in the woods always pays off 🤞🏼
