🏔️ Finding Your Happy Place: A Day at Bogus Basin 🎿
There’s something magical about being at the top of the mountain, with the sun breaking through and the clouds below. It’s moments like these where I’m leaning back, smiling, feeling on top of the world.
But you know whats even better? Finding friends on the slopes that you just click with instantly and then proceed to find lines that would normally make you think twice on your own… you were tight to shred with yesterday and im pumped I met you last year BRO!
There’s nothing better than being out there with a ski or snowboard friend that is not only an encouraging person (or people), but push you to be the best you can be.
Thankfully I had my dad (before he retired from skiing but still crushes 50+ mile bike rides a day and countless other activities). I also have like 5 solid buddies I will get out there with and hopefully many more in the future to explore different terrain from different states with.
Skiing isn’t just a sport for me; it’s honestly my happy place. It’s also something that cured my Seasonal Affective Disorder and gives me something to look forward to every year.

It reminds me that staying active isn’t confined to the four walls of a gym. Remember, it’s not always about lifting weights or counting reps. Your journey to health and happiness can take many forms. If the gym isn’t your scene, that’s okay! Find an activity that you love, that keeps you moving, and most importantly, having fun. Whether it’s skiing down slopes, hiking through nature, or dancing in your living room – every step counts. 🌟
So here’s my tip: Embrace activities that lift your mood and keep you healthy. Physical health is crucial, but so is your mental wellbeing. Find your happy place, chase those endorphins, and keep moving towards a happier, healthier life! 💪
