Join us in celebrating Nature Photography Day! 📸
We are asking that you take time to go out to our parks during June 15-19 to snap some photos. We want to see what the park looks through your eyes. Post your photo as a comment on this post for it to potentially be featured in our Fall Newsletter (with permission).

Photo Details: Your shot can be of anything in the park; animals, landscape, sunset, you enjoying our parks through activity or something else.

In honor of America’s 250th Anniversary, we invite artists of all ages to participate in a special Art Contest!

🌳 Theme:
Capture the beauty of a Pennsylvania state or local park and show what America—and its 250th anniversary—means to YOU.
✨ Let your creativity shine through nature, history, community, and the spirit of freedom!

🖌️ Who Can Enter?
✅ Youth (12 & under)
✅ Teens (13–18)
✅ Adults & Seniors (19+)

📏 Artwork Guidelines:
Maximum size: 16 x 20 inches
Accepted materials: oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, pencil, charcoal, ink, or collage
Original artwork only (no digital art or copied designs)

🏆 Prizes & Judging:
Judged first by local leaders
Finalists advance to a panel of artists & professionals
Top 3 winners in each age group!
