📣 New Store Hours at Rider’s Choice Supply Co.

Let’s be honest… when it’s summer, we’d all rather be at the barn before the heat (and the flies) show up. ☀️🐴

So, we’re making a few changes to our store hours.

🕛 New Hours
• Monday: By Appointment Only
• Tuesday–Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Need something before noon? No problem! Just send us a message or give us a call—we’re happy to open early by appointment whenever we can.

And remember, our online store is always open 24/7, so you can shop whenever inspiration strikes (or when you realize at 10 PM that you’re out of leather cleaner 😅).

Whether you’re headed to a horse show, forgot something, need a last-minute gift, or just want to stop in and chat horses, we’re here for you and all of your horse’s needs.

100 years of Joe “Green” Ambrosio. ❤️🏇

Today, as we say goodbye to Aqueduct, I can’t help but think about the man who gave me the love of horses…

Just a few days ago, my grandfather, Joe Green Ambrosio, would have celebrated his 100th birthday.

In 1938, at just 12 years old, he hopped the fence at the racetrack looking for work on the backstretch. That one fearless decision became a lifetime devoted to horses, racing, and the people who make this industry so special.

He passed that love down through generations. I grew up on the backstretch, learned what hard work looked like, and fell in love with horses because of him.

As Aqueduct closes its gates for the final time today, it feels fitting to honor the man whose story began there.

Every decision I’ve made while reimagining Rider’s Choice Supply Co. has carried a little piece of him with it. This shop was never just about tack—it was built on the values he lived every day: show up, work hard, take care of horse people, and leave things better than you found them.

Thank you Popa, for starting a legacy that continues long after the finish line.

Happy 100th Birthday. And thank you, Aqueduct, for being where it all began. ❤️
