Ignite Basketball

Ignite Basketball We help develop kids in the game of basketball by teaching them individual and team fundamentals from a Biblical point of view. (Phil. 2:4) In God We Trust.

Then We Teach. Coach. Develop. Coach Tommy brings over 20 years of coaching experience: 3 in middle school, 17 years in high school (12 years as head coach in high school)

Tommy's approach:
•Fundamental to the game is skill development from the ground up
•Uses parts to whole as a teaching method. The key is not to be in a hurry and skip steps in the process.
•Skill work makes up the majority o

f time in every practice. By always focusing on the process, the result will take care of itself. Being consistent with the fundamental process is the key.

These boys battled hard in the Bigfoot tournament in Las Vegas this week. We went 5-2 and lost both games by a total of 3 points. Made it to the final four in their bracket only to lose by two with two boys out due to injuries. They played hard!
