I wanted to inform the community of the newest 10u tackle football team in Boerne. (Must be 10 or younger by September 1st, 2024).

The Boerne Broncos have officially joined the CFPO youth sports league (Christian Federation of Police Officers) for the 2024 fall season, all games are hosted in San Marcos (practices in Boerne). The CFPO youth sports is a non-profit 501c (3) youth sports league featuring football, cheerleading and basketball. CFPO youth sports has been a staple in the south Central Texas area for more than 35 years. They offer the youth in the area the opportunity to play organized sports at an affordable price.

The league includes 14 cities and a total of 80 teams surrounding San Marcos that participate in this football league. (Kyle, Buda, Lockhart, Luling, New Braunfels, Seguin, Stockdale, Poth, Nixon-Smiley to name a few). This league is a bit more competitive than the HCYFL.

Roster spots are limited. The league goes by age group not grade level so it will be 10u. There are no weight restrictions so anyone can run with the ball.

The CFPO offers a more affordable option to families at $120 per kid ($95 family discount for each additional child in household) and all equipment is included (helmet, pads, uniform).
