Privileged to have worked on this M45A1. After disassembling, inspecting, a much needed deep clean, and a cerakote-it turned out beautifully. Being a Marine this pistol has a special place in my heart. Forget about the Sig and Beretta…this pistol is the king👑

The color on this M45A1 has that worn, duty-used look that people love and actually prefer over a factory-fresh finish. You’ve got a dark, almost charcoal/black base on the frame, while the slide shows a distressed, weathered pattern. A mix of faded black, gray and tan that gives it a battle-worn appearance. The OE grips add contrast with a lighter tan, almost desert-camo tone, which ties back to the original Marine Corps color scheme. You’ll notice a slight texture on the slide for improved grip performance. Love this pistol!!

Hello, my name is Andy Garcia, owner of Gung Ho Training and Arms, a family operated business. After more than 20 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, I have maintained a deep passion for firearm marksmanship and disciplined training.

Transitioning back to civilian life presented its challenges, but I found purpose and focus through ammunition manufacturing and fi****ms work. That experience has strengthened my commitment to sharing the principles of safe firearm handling, responsibility, and effective marksmanship with every student I instruct. Every shooter’s needs are different and I’m happy to be a part of their growth.

As Gung Ho Training and Arms continues to grow, I look forward to expanding our product line, including the upcoming release of a series of suppressors and other firearm-related products. Stay tuned for what is ahead and see the Gung Ho website for current services. Currently we offer custom ammo at a great price, LTC classes, gunsmith work, lathe work, cerakoting and firearm builds…you name it we can do it!
