Soul Garden Yoga & Wellness

Soul Garden Yoga & Wellness How does your garden grow? Heather’s passion is to share her enthusiasm of yoga and to create a positive experience for her students.

Heather Berg, E-RYT, is a former Montessori teacher who has been a yoga practitioner since 1990 where, as a college student, she took her first “Intro to Sun Salutations” at NYU. She practiced many yoga traditions over her 20 plus years, but it wasn’t until her yoga training with Leslie Glickman, where she was formally trained in Vinyasa Krama (intelligent sequencing designed with a specific inten

tion) did she find her true calling. Her mission is an approach to meet the needs of individuals as well as to teach at a deeper level beyond the postures. She is not one particular style focused; she is most interested in teaching others to be discerning practitioners who can then integrate information for themselves. This way, Heather’s students will truly learn to practice yoga as a way of life that breathes differently in every body. Heather’s precisely cued invigorating Vinyasa classes focus on cultivating breath and body awareness while her Yin classes relax both the body and mind taking practitioners to a deeper level of sensitivity and stillness, both inside and out. Not only does Heather teach on land, but on a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) as well! The paddleboard takes the place of your mat, but since it’s an unstable foundation it will truly fire up your core! You will NO DOUBT need to work with more consciousness, honing your mindfullness skills. She is always researching and exploring other respectable yoga teacher trainings and workshops so that she can continue her own growth to bring new concepts to her students. Some of the teachers Heather has studied with and is influenced by are Elena Brower, Seane Corn, Terri Cooper, Jason Crandell, Sarah Powers, Kathryn Budig and Joe Barnett. Along with teaching local workshops, Heather leads yoga classes at larger events such as: Okeechobee Music, Art and Yoga Fest; The Yoga Expo; I Am Complete Women's Retreat; Campowerment. When asked what she loves about yoga, Heather says, “It’s the perfect opportunity to see who I really am. It brings me home.”

From the garden to the jar 🌶️

Instead of making salsa AGAIN with these mighty powerful peppers, these beautiful, yellow habaneros became homemade garlic habanero pickles.

They are fiery, vibrant, and surprisingly nourishing.

A few benefits packed into every crunchy bite:

• Habaneros are rich in vitamin C, supporting immune health and collagen production

• Capsaicin (the compound that gives peppers their heat) may help support metabolism, circulation, and reduce inflammation

• Garlic contains powerful sulfur compounds that support heart health and the immune system

• Fermented or using vinegar to make pickles can help stimulate digestion and satisfy cravings with bold flavor

• Spicy foods may also trigger endorphins…nature’s little mood boost

A reminder that food can be both medicine and joy.

Grown slowly, made by hand, and shared with love.

Mirroring Rhythms of the Natural World Retreat

Sept 30-Oct 4, 2026

Crisp air.
Slower mornings.
A return to yourself.

This fall, we gather AGAIN for a retreat designed to ground, warm, and restore.

Each day we’ll move through gentle yoga, breathwork, and meditation—practices to soothe your nervous system and reconnect you to your body and breath.

Between sessions, wander beneath golden canopies, sink into sauna and cold plunge, and share stories by the fire as the season shifts around us.

Nourishment is part of the ritual. Thoughtfully prepared lunches and dinners by a private chef, with cozy, unhurried mornings for stillness.

If you’ve been craving space to slow down, reflect, and reset… this is your invitation.

(Due to high season, registration ends 5/29)

Fall Retreat at Firecreek | Sept 30 – Oct 4

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be returning to for my third retreat with the incomparable and their beautiful team.

Coming off our spring retreat, I’m still feeling the quiet echo of balance and integration…those subtle shifts that stay with you long after you return home. This next gathering, Mirroring Rhythms of the Natural World, will invite us to align with the richness and transition of autumn.

This is one of the most coveted times of year at Firecreek, and there has already been strong interest, so if you feel called, don’t wait too long.

🍁Full payment is requested by:

I’m returning home with a full heart after five days immersed in the quiet magic of Firecreek Retreat in Burnsville, NC.

Gavin and Christy McKenzie, thank you for your intuitive vision in creating a place that invites people not to escape their lives, but to remember who they are. Every detail of Firecreek feels like it’s been shaped with intention, care, and deep respect for the land—and it holds you in a way that gently calls you back to yourself.

Set in a lush hollow at 3,000 feet, where the forest hums with birdsong and new spring growth, we were given the space to soften, to listen, and to reconnect. Through daily yoga, breathwork, meditation, hydrotherapy, hiking, and time spent simply being, we explored how our inner landscape mirrors the natural world—awakening, renewing, and expanding in its own time.

Evie, our Ayurvedic chef, nourished us far beyond the physical. Each meal was an experience—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and infused with such presence and creativity that it touched every sense. You fed not only our bodies, but our minds and spirits as well.

And to this incredible group…what a gift to walk alongside one another. Though our paths are unique, we found common ground in the shared desire to find balance and clarity within the transitional seasons of our lives. There was honesty, openness, laughter, and a quiet understanding that needed no words.
This retreat was a gentle reminder that renewal doesn’t require force. It asks for space, attention, and a willingness to be present with what is.
Deep gratitude to all who made this experience what it was.

I’m already looking forward to the next gathering when nature transitions once again, 9/30-10/4.

Please connect before you commit. Message me for more information

Moringa has been growing quietly in my garden, and it’s one of those plants that reminds me how much support nature offers us during midlife.

Rich in minerals and antioxidants, moringa is deeply nourishing at a time when our bodies are asking for steadiness, energy, and resilience. Not more hustle. Not more restriction. Just real nourishment.

I love adding the beautiful leaves to warm drinks, smoothies and even some recipes.

Before dropping the leaves in, enjoy their earthy scent. Simple rituals like this help the body feel supported, not rushed.

Save this for the days you feel low on energy or in need of gentle grounding 🌱

Your next chapter doesn’t need to be forced. It can be cultivated.

Breath of Fire = my favorite “espresso shot” ☕️✨

A powerful pranayama that quickly energizes the body, clears the mind, and builds internal heat.

Short, rhythmic exhales through the nose, with passive inhales, stoking your inner fire from the inside out.

Try it when you need a reset, a boost, or a shift in energy.

Comment BREATH below and I’ll send you another breathwork practice.

Wellness in midlife isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing what actually supports your body now.

So many women I work with think they’re “behind” or “doing it wrong” because the routines that once worked no longer do.

Midlife brings real changes — in hormones, sleep, energy, and nervous system regulation — and that means your care needs to evolve too.

Soul Garden Reset was created for this exact season….

Short, intentional practices using breathwork, gentle yoga, meditation, and sleep support — designed to fit into real life, not overhaul it.

This isn’t about pushing, fixing, or striving.
It’s about coming back into rhythm with yourself. 🙏

If you’d like to experience this approach firsthand, comment BREATH and I’ll send you a free breathwork video to help you settle your nervous system and reconnect with your body.

Intentional practices for an extraordinary next chapter. 🪷

Grateful to have just completed another inspiring week teaching at

Since 2018, I’ve had the privilege of returning regularly to share yoga, meditation, breathwork (including Buteyko and pranayama), and mindfulness-based experiences such as labyrinth walks and silent dinners. Each visit is a reminder of the power of intentional space, community, and connection.

This visit was especially meaningful as I had the opportunity to share it with my dear friend,

What makes this experience so exceptional is not only the programming, but the environment itself—the organic farm, nourishing food, stunning natural surroundings, and the opportunity to collaborate alongside talented teachers and presenters from around the world.

It is truly an honor to be part of something so meaningful. Looking forward to continuing this journey next year.
