Congratulations Misty Lefler Stewart

For BoardRoom's 30th anniversary, we revisited a feature we last published more than a decade ago, recognizing women whose leadership, innovation, mentorship and industry influence are helping shape the future of private clubs.

This year, BoardRoom received 86 nominations from industry leaders, associations, peers and vendor partners throughout the private club industry. From those nominations, 30 women were selected for the cover story, representing leadership across executive management, governance, golf, associations, culinary, golf course management, wellness, membership and marketing, racquets, communications, human resources, legal, events and education.

What stood out most was not only the depth of their accomplishments, but the breadth of their influence. These women are mentoring future leaders, redefining club culture and helping create more collaborative, thoughtful and innovative environments for both members and staff.

We are proud to celebrate the 30 women featured on the cover and to recognize all 86 nominees whose contributions continue to strengthen the private club industry.
