Good ball strikers move TOWARD THE TARGET.
With everything….
But of course more with the lower body than upper.
A simple drill to make sure you are doing this correctly is to put a club in line with the golf ball
Make sure ALL of your lower body finishes FORWARD of the line.
Imagine you draw a line up from that and all of you is ahead of it
You want to feel like you’re PUSHING your belt buckle UP AND FORWARD toward the target.
So it’s moving FORWARD AND ROTATING! It’s not just forward movement with no rotation and of course it’s not just rotation without forward movement.
Give this one a try if you struggle getting through the ball or hanging back on trail side too much.
