The Boardman 12U All Stars battled back after trailing by four runs in the third inning but came up just short, falling 5-4 to the Canfield 12U All Stars on Saturday at Fields of Dreams in the District 2 Championship.

While the scoreboard didn’t end the way Boardman had hoped, this team showed incredible heart, determination, and resilience throughout the tournament. We couldn’t be more proud of these young athletes and their coaches for the way they represented Boardman on and off the field.

A special congratulations to the Canfield 12U All Stars on a hard-fought victory. Both teams competed with class, and the outstanding sportsmanship displayed by the players, coaches, and families throughout the District 2 Tournament is what Little League baseball is all about.

Congratulations, Boardman 12U. Your community is incredibly proud of everything you accomplished this summer. Maroon pride runs deep.

Let’s try this again!

Due to heavy rain and out of concern for the safety of our players, coaches, families, and spectators, today’s game has been suspended.

The game will resume tomorrow, Saturday, July 11, at 10:00 AM.

Let’s pack the stands and cheer on our Boardman 12U All Stars as they continue their championship run. We appreciate everyone’s patience and look forward to seeing you at the ballpark!
