Happy International Pilates Day💛

So grateful for what Pilates has brought into my life—and that I get to share it with you in the studio. Thankful for the mentors, teachers, and studios that keep me learning.

I’m not usually on camera, but here’s a little of my own practice—Control Balance Off. Not perfect, and I’m not coming off… which is exactly why it’ll always be a practice for me too.

International Pilates Day feels like a good reminder that this isn’t about perfection. Just showing up, doing the work, and moving a little better in the bodies we have.

🪄🪄Movement spotlight—one of my personal favorites.
Control Balance Front on the reformer is challenging because the body has to stay organized while moving against the springs.

The abdominals support the spine and control the pelvis as the legs reach long and extend. The movement comes from the center, not from forcing or momentum.

Through the upper body, the shoulders and back provide stable support, keeping the chest open and the body lifted rather than sinking into the carriage.

It demands full-body coordination—everything working together with control, precision, and balance.

❄️ Saturday Pop-Up Snow Check ❄️
We’re so excited for tomorrow’s pop-up Reformer class — because Saturday movement is always a good idea 🤍

🌨️If it IS snowing or there IS snow on the ground, class will be canceled and all credits will be returned.
☀️If it is NOT snowing and there is NO snow on the ground, class will go on as planned.

If you’re feeling unsure about being out with whatever tomorrow’s weather may bring, please cancel within the 12-hour window so someone on the waitlist can join and avoid a late cancellation fee or credit deduction. And if you wake up, check conditions, and see an opening, you’re always welcome to rebook 🤍
