💪😂 FLEX FRIDAY UPDATE!

BIG NEWS… the walking boot has officially been RELEASED FROM DUTY. 🎉👢

Unfortunately, my foot apparently didn’t get the memo because it still hurts. 😂

So I’ve upgraded from:
“Guy walking around
in a giant orthopedic boot”
to
“Guy walking around normally while quietly complaining about his foot.” 🤣

Progress is progress!

Either way, Flex Fitness keeps moving. Some days we lift heavy. Some days we modify. Some days Coach Don demonstrates the exercise and immediately regrets it. 😂

🔥 Show up.
🔥 Do what you can.
🔥 Keep getting stronger.
🔥 And apparently… protect your feet.

💪 FLEX FRIDAY! 💪

The Flex crew came in ready to lift, sweat, and make questionable life choices before most people even hit the snooze button. Meanwhile, I’m still clomping around in my walking boot like a wounded Transformer. 🤖🥾

Apparently, I have a stress fracture—which is surprising because I didn’t even know my foot had a job stressful enough to fracture over. 😂

Don’t worry, though—Coach Don is still coaching! I may not be able to demonstrate everything, but I can point, yell, count reps incorrectly, and say, “You’ve got five more!” at least three times. That’s leadership. 😎

The boot may have slowed me down, but it hasn’t stopped this crew from putting in the work. Another strong week in the books!

💪 FLEX FRIDAY! 💪

Attendance was a little light this morning…and my footwear was a little heavy. 😂 Somehow Coach Don ended up coaching in a walking boot. Apparently, I took “modify as needed” a little too seriously!

We were missing a few members, but the crew who showed up still got it done. No excuses—just sweat, laughs, and one coach clomping around like a wounded Clydesdale. 🐴🤣

To everyone who missed today: heal up, sleep it off, finish your vacation, or prepare your excuse—we’ll see you next week!

We celebrate by voluntarily doing things that make sitting on the toilet difficult tomorrow. 😂🔥

We got the workout in this morning, then I spent the rest of the day digging fence post holes through clay and tree roots. By the time I finished, I realized… I never posted! 😂
