Origin’s community has always been the reason this place works. Because we’ve never really just been a gym, walk into any other gym and you will see what I mean, Origin is for serious people. Serious about health. Serious about life. Serious about each other.
A plug and play sauna from a box in the corner was never going to be enough for them. So we built one by hand instead. There is no model for this. No category. It shouldn’t really exist. Nobody puts a room like this inside a gym, in Utah, at this level. That’s the part that took two years to figure out. The room reads the day and the people in it. Heat, light, sound, every detail designed around this community’s energy…focused at sunrise, relaxed after work, chill on a Saturday night when twenty of them want to reconnect and be in the same room.
Obsidian is one of the most uniquely constructed hot rooms in the country and certainly one of the best, singular wellness spaces anyone’s built in the state. Not because the standard needed raising, but because our community had already raised it.
