Two Times The Fun For The MRA At Valley This Friday And Saturday Night!

Grain Valley, Mo: This Friday Night, June 19th, and Saturday, June 20th, The Wholesale Batteries Inc. USAC MRA Sprint Series returns to action with “Two Times The Fun” racing at Valley Speedway on consecutive nights!
Under Friday Night Lights June 19th, the MRA will run, along with The Midwest Lightning Sprints, and Mod Lites in The Salute To Service Showdown honoring our Veterans courtesy of Lies Trash Service, and Rod End Supply.
While the next night, June 20th, the MRA returns to the Valley for another full night of racing with the Fathers Day Dirt Classic, also featuring the regular Saturday night classes.
Recap of 2026 So Far:
Unfortunately, the inaugural season of the MRA sprint series has included two rainouts. However, in the three programs that have been
run the racing has been spectacular, with two of the three features being decided with near photo finish results!
Last Time Out:
On May 23rd the MRA sprint cars raced at Valley Speedway for the first time this season in front of a packed house of fans, and a juiced up track at Dennis Shrouts palace of speed.
21 cars lined up for the 25 lap feature, and put on a show that featured side by side racing throughout the field, with Nixa, Mo. driver Wesley Smith passing the “Jack of All Trades” Jack Wagner of Lone Jack, Mo. with one lap to go for a narrow win aboard his Wesley Smith Racing 44, besting Wagner driving the Jesse Hockett Racing/Wagner Boys Racing 77, with Tom Curran running third in the TCR 11x for his first podium in MRA competition.
Point Standings is Tight, Tight, Tight:
Racing for the Ultimate prize, 10,000 dollars going to the winner of the first ever MRA Championship in 2026 courtesy of Wholesale Batteries Inc. Jack Wagner with one win, two podiums, and three top fives leads fellow Lone Jack racer Braydon Cromwell, two podiums, and three top fives by 3 points! With Nesbit, Mississippi’s Chase Howard in third place just 17 points back, Topeka, Kansas, wheelman, Wyatt Burks in fourth 19 points behind, and Parkville, Missouri, gasser, Justin Johnson in fifth, 43 points behind the leader of the pack Wagner.
