When Jody first walked through our doors, she was nervous about starting her fitness journey. Like so many people, she wasn’t sure what to expect and felt self-conscious about lifting weights. You guys have shown me that no matter what injuries and issues I have that I can still work out and I appreciate all the modifications. I wish I had found you sooner. Some people count years in friendships… with Jerry, we count gyms. 😄

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Jerry since the days of teaching classes at the Fieldhouse, through the home gym days (where he even helped us with remodeling projects!), and now here at Elevation Fitness. If there’s one thing that’s remained consistent through all those years, it’s this:

Full disclosure for a 40+ woman going through hormonal chaos:

😭Bloated for no reason
😴Can’t sleep- tired, but wired
🔥Body temp is on fire

My family probably thinks I’m crazy for working out at 1:00am but I was irritated laying there for hours not being able to sleep and I was going to get up at 5am to workout anyways 😂

If you’re close knit with a 40+ woman, give her patience and grace…we are not okay! 😬😭😂

But at least I resorted to a healthy habit and not junk food, right?!
