THE KANSAS CITY ROYALS FOUNDATION TO BRING BACK FREE FEBRUARY
The Kansas City Royals Foundation, formerly Royals Charities, and the Kansas City Royals are happy to announce that for the third year in a row, they will cover the cost of entrance for everyone visiting the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) during February.
The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is located at 1616 East 18th Street in the historic 18th and Vine District. Those visiting the museum during normal operating hours will not be charged for their visit.
The museum is open Mondays during February, including Presidents’ Day from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m.
Patrons during the month are encouraged to share photos on social media using the hashtag and tag and on X.
If you are interested in scheduling self-guided group tours of 25 or more, please call and schedule with the NLBM at 816-221-1920 between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Please note there will be no special group scheduled tours during the month.

Due to severely cold temperatures we are moving our tryouts to next Sunday, January 21st.

"Good Afternoon! I’m the manager of the 8U Dynamite Hitters out of Blue Springs, MO. We’re a team that has been together since Tee-Ball! So lots of experience players needing more of a challenge at we grow together. Our team is made up of players from Blue Springs, Lee’s Summit, Grain Valley, and Independence area.

We have recently joined a club team and will now go as the 8U EKC Knights! We currently have 10 players looking 2 add players! They must be in 2nd grade right now or turning 9 after June 1st of 2024.
Even though we are now a club team, we take care of about 90% of our expenses through different fundraisers! This year we will be competing in the Blue Springs Baseball Rec League this spring/fall and as well going to 4-6 tournaments this spring/summer. This will be our last season of Machine Pitch as the kids age up to Kids Pitch in Fall of 2024.

If you have a 2nd grader that is well experienced in the game (throwing, hitting, catching, and has a great attitude) please send me a DM to come scheduled to come to our tryout on January 14th in our indoor facility in Grain Valley. It will be from 5:30-7:00pm during our team practice.
