Coach Mitchem: In my first year as head coach of this program, it is my intention to lay the foundation for a future which consists of excellence and community enrichment. Our program will be transformational and one which provides boys the opportunity to learn and develop, not only on the track, but as members of their community. In recent years, we have begun to see some of the success which our program is truly capable of. Last year we sent 8 athletes down to the state meet. Our Indoor team won its first Conference Championship in program history. We tied our best Outdoor Conference finish with 2nd place. Additionally, our boys won the District 218 Triangular for the first time since its inception in 2010. Several of our 2024 seniors are now college athletes on either partial or full-ride scholarships. These sort of accomplishments are ones which we intend to be our standard going forward.
In order to see this vision through, we need your help. Our athletes deserve the same resources and opportunities as their fellow competitors. From uniforms, to training equipment, to funds for team nutrition, your donation will be so impactful for us and our boys. An investment in our team means an investment in our community, as we promise to pay it forward in through our achievements, exemplary representation, and community involvement.
