What a year for the Southside. We hit a record high of 27 teams at RIPH this summer, launched a brand-new Southside Belt —the Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime (AAA) — and opened our newest home at Eagles. All year long, Southside kept showing up and showing out, representing at tournaments near and far, and giving love to our zebras who make the whole thing possible. It was truly another banner year, and our hearts couldn’t be fuller.

Year after year, we bring the energy and pride wherever we go, and it’s incredibly heartwarming to see this community continue to be recognized on a bigger stage. At Jingle Balls, we had Southsiders spread across five different teams throughout the tournament. The energy was unreal, and the night was capped off with some massive Southside wins to close things out.

Huge congratulations to our guy Flex, named Bocce Official of the Year, and to Franny for her Bocce Ambassador of the Year win!

This community keeps raising the bar and showing what it means to roll together. We’re beyond proud of what we’ve built and where we’re headed.

Thinking bocce courts just appear out of thin air? Think again!

At Eagles, step one requires our crew to do some heavy lifting before the courts even go down! And yes, that was an entire stage that was moved across the room. 😳💪🏼

The 1v1 was a huge showing for Southside Bocce!!

Last year we rolled in with 7 players and 3 of them made it to Gold. This year, we doubled our ranks! 12 players strong!! 8 battled it out of their flights to earn a spot in the Gold Bracket on Sunday. Franny made the deepest run into the sweet 16, finally bowing out to former champ and runner-up Mike Masini. We’re so proud of our crew!

But the highlight of the weekend? Cheering on our guy Flex in the Silver Finals. Down 9-1, he never backed down, chipping away at the deficit until he flipped the script and won the whole thing, with Southside absolutely roaring on the sidelines. Congrats Flex!

With a showing like this, we can’t wait to see how much further our community grows in 2026!!

CONGRATS to our leisurely dinos Boccesaurus Rec on their perfect season!

Boccesaurus Rec are one of only a few OG Southside teams and their chemistry showed as they dominated Court A all night.

Props to our runners up, Mitosis. Bridesmaids once again!

Idk about ya’ll but we felt the Southside presence at this year’s ABC Open! We tripled our Southside ranks from last year, cheered on our bocce heroes in the World Championship Qualifiers 🇺🇸 and our bocce friends on the courts, watched our very own Mama 🐝 win the skills challenge, and even brought the belt along for the field trip!

What a weekend! Let’s bring even more friends next year, Southside!

It was willed into existence… NEW Southside Bocce champs, Reidy or Not!!

After a night of upsets with 3 of our last champs getting knocked out and an intermission for a torrential downpour, SSB soldiered on!!

Congrats to Reidy or Not on not only the win but a perfect season! 👌🏼 Shout out to SSB OG Tegan and rookie Alice on their first pins!

👏🏼 And of course another congrats to Elbowbenders taking 2nd and our silver champs ADSC!! 👏🏼

The team that commutes together, WINS together!! Team Southside Bocce took the W after a hard fought game against Turbo Team!!

This WNB win at Cleo’s also marks the first Northside pin for Tweed, Franny, Kevin, and Nick!! 🙌🏼

American Bocce Co. 🤝 Southside Bocce

This Saturday, team ABC Southside (Matthew Zdano, Franny Sal, Nick, and Kevin) participated in ABA’s tournament at St. Rita and took second place!!! 🥈

It was a great day of good bocce! 🤌🏼 Thanks to Nick from Beverly Bocce Club for organizing and of course thanks ABC for the opportunity to represent! 🤗
