The range will be open September 6th, and 13th in the Blue Hill Community Center. We will be conducting a safety class from Noon until 1:00 with an open range after that until 4:00 PM.

Today, we will conduct a safety class at 12:00. If no takers, open range until 4:00 PM. Depending on the number of folks that show up, we may run a mock contest with scoring.

May range dates - May 14, 17 and 28: open range from noon to 6 pm, safety class from 6-8 pm.

June range dates - June 14 and June 21: open range from noon to 6 pm, safety class from 6-8 pm.

We regret to inform you that the safety class scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict. We understand the importance of these sessions and appreciate your understanding. Please stay tuned for the rescheduling information.

Save the date! April 22nd from 6-8 PM for the Range signup and safety class.

The cost is 25.00 per member and all materials will be provided. The class covers range rules and commands, safe gun handling rules, safety procedures (including safety rod, empty chamber indicator, removing a rifle from the case, individual safety precautions, rifle nomenclature and safe loading and unloading, and firearm stoppages and malfunctions.

The three NRA Gun Safety rules -
1. Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
2. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
3. Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
