The Good, The Sad, and the Kinda Ugly.
THE GOOD: We have been working diligently through the winter on 9 MORE HOLES - two LONG par 5's and others that will make our course even more unique. We are hoping to have these open later this season.
We are also offering season passes. These will be available for purchase the first two weeks of May. ANY rounds you play and pay for prior to that date can be credited to your purchase. The price is $200 cash. Be on the lookout for another message here. We will coordinate meeting at the course at a convenient time. THE SAD: Sadly, earlier this month, we lost my younger cousin, and founder, builder, and owner of Angry Lobster Disc Golf in Fairfield, Mark Andre. Mark's course was very different from Step Back and had been adapted from a shuttered tree nursery. Mark and his course were well liked by many Maine Disc Golfers.
THE KINDA OF UGLY: Well my leg picture here says it all.... Burst Baker Cyst = a calf I wish I had all the time. BUT a lot of pain at the moment. We apologize for any sticks out on the course - they will be cleared up this week. Also the wind has been ruthless with our sign - we are working on somehow hoisting that back into the frame.
Regardless, we are OPEN and more than ready for you to come out and play a round. We've already had a few DG's out the past week and we are looking forward to a great season.
