Blue Hill Rifle and Pistol Club The Blue Hill Rifle and Pistol Club Inc. received it's NRA charter on December 4th, 1946.

It was founded by about 20 people, mostly returning WWII Veterans and there wives, who wanted a place to practice target shooting. The original facility was built in 1947 on top of Tenney Hill, by club members.
