Last night for some reason they forgot I had a point average so started dead last of the heat and finished 5th. Car was wishy washy but ran good. We started 10th in the feature and couldn’t get around the chaos fast enough, but we did with a few laps left and started picking em off one by one! We wound up driving it up to 4th! Car ran great, overheating is solved, and we didn’t touch a single car.

It’s gonna be a good week of adjusting the set up and we should be ready to rock again!

I appreciate everyone’s help and support this year! It’s not what we expected this year to look like however we are enjoying our nights at the track especially when we can load the car under its own power! 🤘🏼🏁

Cars been sitting long enough, it’s time to go racing! We’ll be heading to Off Road tonight! Hot Laps at 6:15, Racing starts at 7! See yah there!

Unfortunately we are a DNF in the heat and DNS in the feature. Car is fast, but unfortunately it will not run right and we are not blowing up another motor. We will regroup, figure out what’s going on, and get it squared away. It was however still great to be at the track during Memorial weekend and see our friends! Til next time! ✌🏼

We ventured to Off Road Speedway last night for our first time ever there. Hot laps we about had the same issue but pulled off. Jeremy found the issue. (Plastic parts we have a ton of). Heat Race we went forward. And feature time we were hauling. P10->P4. 🤘🏼 We set the fastest time just couldn’t get through traffic fast enough.

These last few weeks have been tough. But the support and people around me kept us moving along. I truly can’t thank everyone enough for all their help!

I’ve typed this post about 4 different times because I want to make sure it comes across the right way. So bear with me. I apologize for the long post.

We went to Eagle as most know last weekend and our motor decided it was done. We didn’t give up. We thrashed and pulled the motor out tore it apart and was able to use a couple things to put a new one together. Jeremy at GI Auto busted his ass to get us up and running and we were sitting pretty. My wife helped drop it in. My mom helped get some last minute items since I was swamped trying to get everything else wrapped up.

Friday morning came around we snuck down to Butler, Missouri. Ran hot laps. Car was great. Went up to Qualify and clutch rod came off the peddle. Which is weird considering I don’t even touch this to pull the motor. Missed the heat race trying to get it buttoned up. Because of course I was the first heat. 🙃 Got it fixed, went out for the “B” feature and ran a solid 4-5 laps picking cars off and p**f. Motor left the chat.

Now I’m gonna make this VERY clear. The build is NOT the issue. I don’t know if it’s a computer issue. I don’t know if it’s a fuel issue. I don’t know if it’s a water pump issue. I don’t know. But we will get it figured out. Unfortunately though it will not be right now.

Over the last 8 years this racecar and the cars before it, have determined my mood, my bank account, and what is going on the calendar. We are putting an end to that. This week has been far from fun. And the wallet just isn’t there.

I can’t thank everyone enough for the all the support though. Jeremy for the last minute build, my Mom for the last minute pick up, Brandi for coming over and helping get things in the truck to be fixed and built. My wife for keeping the house afloat and literally everything that I have asked of her. And all of my other sponsors, Andy Huffaker and Eldon’s Auto hasn’t even got a visit from me I’ve been so busy. Brendan Eilts builds a hell of a car. Best Tree Service for all their support. Hagny’s auto, Gregg Trucking, ol Kass Boje. These guys and the rest of my friends and family. I appreciate you guys. We will do our best to keep everyone updated.

Unfortunately Norfolk was forced to make a decision, however we’re making one of our own!

We will be Eagle Bound tomorrow evening for their Ice Breaker! Hot Laps at 5! Races start at 6! 🤘🏼
