A Little Piece of Sundance History

For years, the trophy that sits front and center in our studio has been more than just an award. It has become a part of the story of Sundance Studio.

Standing proudly in the heart of our studio, it represents the many dancers who have walked through our doors, worked hard, stepped onto stages, and discovered what they were capable of. It is a reminder of the dedication, perseverance, and passion that have shaped our studio throughout the years.

And perhaps most fittingly, this trophy helps our dancers find center stage—both literally and figuratively. It reminds us that every dancer has a place to shine, a story to tell, and a moment worth celebrating.

We are proud of where Sundance Studio has been, grateful for the memories that have brought us here, and excited for all the dancers who will continue to add to our story.

Here’s to the history behind the trophy—and to all the center-stage moments still to come.

Highland County Fair Week is almost here, and we are excited to be part of it!
Come out and support our dancers as they take the stage and the streets for two special performances during the fair.

Wednesday, September 2nd at 6:00 PM
Highland County Fair Parade
Look for our cloggers in the parade as we dance our way through the streets and show off some of the hard work our dancers have been putting in. We would love to see all of our friends, family, and community members along the parade route cheering us on!

Friday, September 4th at 6:00 PM
High School Gym
Join us for our clogging performance! Our dancers have been working hard preparing their routines, and we are excited to share their talent and love of dance with everyone.
Mark your calendars for both nights and come support our dancers! Bring your family and friends and help us make these performances extra special.

While some may consider a dance studio on a cattle farm to be a bit unorthadox, we certainly enjoy it! Check out these images one of our Clogging Moms captured when a rain storm came through during class this past Tuesday. The studio and the farm might not exactly be at the end of the rainbow, but it's definitely our pot of gold!

Kenzie just completed her ninth year with the Little Switzerland Cloggers — and what an incredible nine years it has been. From a little girl dancing to “Red Camaro” to the confident, capable young lady she is today, her growth has been nothing short of remarkable.

Kenzie’s commitment to clogging has shaped her into an exceptionally well-rounded dancer. Her control, precision, stage presence, and confidence reflect years of steady dedication and hard work. What once may have felt challenging now looks effortless — a testament to her perseverance and determination.

Beyond her talent, Kenzie brings a thoughtful, empathetic spirit to the studio. She leads with kindness, handles challenges with grace, and sets a quiet example of maturity and responsibility for those around her. Her love for the team and her commitment to honoring every goal she sets for herself make her truly special.

We are so proud of the dancer — and the young woman — Kenzie has become. It has been an absolute honor to watch her grow, and we can’t wait to see where her next chapter leads.

The Little Switzerland Cloggers celebrated their 2025 accomplishments last night at their annual Awards Banquet!

So proud of our dancers for such a wonderful season. It was a joy to recognize the hard work, growth, and dedication shown by each student throughout the year. Watching these dancers build skill, confidence, and a genuine love for clogging is what makes this studio such a special place.

Thank you to our families for your continued support! We’re excited for all that’s ahead in the coming year! Bring on the 2026 season!

Last night, we held our 2025 Awards Banquet at The Highland Center to celebrate all the wonderful things these dancers accomplished last year! It was a wonderful way to celebrate a year of growth, dedication, and achievement for our cloggers.

Each award was thoughtfully chosen to recognize individual progress, commitment, and the unique strengths every dancer brings to the team. These young dancers continue to grow not only in skill and performance, but in confidence, teamwork, and their love for the art of clogging.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work shown last year — from learning challenging choreography to supporting one another as a true team. It’s an honor to help carry on Highland County’s clogging tradition while creating a positive, encouraging environment for our dancers and families.

A special thank you to Claire's Cakes & Cafe for an awesome dinner! And thank you to our dancers, families, and supporters for making this season such a success! We’re looking forward to another year of learning, growth, and making memories together! 💜

The Little Switzerland Cloggers had a great time at the 2025 Hands and Harvest Festival a couple weeks ago! We joined up with our friends Ellen & Eugene Ratcliffe, who taught and called square dance figures. And we even had a special guest surprise us - legendary clogger and square dancer Lou Maiuri! A fun time was had by all!
