Join us in welcoming Erica Densmore! Erica is a Philadelphia-based dancer, choreographer, and educator and is teaching the Fundamentals of Jazz Dance course at Montco this semester. Originally a Pittsburgh native, she received her BA in dance from Penn State and her MFA from Temple University. She has danced for multiple companies within the Philadelphia area including the Chocolate Ballerina Company in their premier of Swan Lake (2023). Erica founded her dance company, Erica Densmore Dance Artists in 2024. They have performed in multiple cities along the East Coast and are looking to expand in 2026. Erica’s teaching background of styles includes jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and ballet for an array of ages and skill levels. She is looking forward to her time at MC3.

Dance Club meeting this Thursday, March 5th at 1:45: We will have a general meeting/check-in about the upcoming Dance Ensemble Spring Dance Showcase! As a reminder, the dance showcase is scheduled for Friday, April 24th at 7pm. At this Thursday’s meeting, we will finalize casting, discuss costume ideas, review the show week schedule, talk about the upcoming in-studio (informal) showing of the dance pieces and answer any additional questions. Please spread the word to other Montco dancers - if you plan to perform in the show, and are available this Thursday - please attend this meeting!

Montco Dance Ensemble Announcement: Abba’s large group ballet rehearsals start today at 2:30pm. If you plan to be in Abba’s dance, please attend this rehearsal.

The full Dance Ensemble rehearsal schedule and casting lists will be posted in the dance studio today. Sign on to the dances you will be in, by signing your initials next to your name. If you are unable to be in a dance, cross your name off the cast list. Thank you!!
