Travel Soccer Families-

Next weekend is Whitpain Travel Soccer's Fall Tournament! Girls' day is Saturday (8/29) and Boys' day is Sunday (8/30). We are excited to have more than 110 teams participating in this event which is highly important to our club, facilities, and area!

The Tournament Director and committee members have been hard at work planning the tournament for months, but we need our club families to help next weekend. Below are two sign-up sheets: for the snack stand, and for general tournament tasks. None of these volunteering roles requires any soccer (or other) skills! We simply need your time and willingness to help.

Please keep in mind that as an obligation of your player accepting a roster spot for the 2026-2027 season, all Whitpain Travel Soccer families must volunteer one (1) hour of time throughout the year to benefit the club.

If your son or daughter is playing in the tournament, perhaps you could volunteer right before or after his/her game, or in between games. Or you could volunteer on the opposite gender day, to be sure you don't miss your player's games! Or, feel free to sign-up an older sibling of your player; perhaps he/she needs some high school volunteering credit!

Please sign-up to help the club so our tournament can be successful, and the proceeds can continue to benefit our players.

Whitpain Freedom U15B captured the USYS President's Cup Regional Championship this weekend with an impressive run through the tournament. The boys went 3-0 in group play before battling Maine Lightning to a 2-2 draw in the championship match. After a tense penalty shootout, Freedom prevailed 6-5 to bring home the regional title.

This remarkable achievement earns Freedom a spot at the USYS President's Cup National Championships in Wichita, Kansas, July 7-11, where they'll compete against the best teams from across the country.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on an incredible accomplishment. Good luck in Wichita!
