Le Jeune Dance Academy, Official School of Le Jeune Dance Company, is committed to providing students ages toddler-adult, all levels and backgrounds who ha

ve a desire to train with a quality dance education. With the talents nurtured at Le Jeune Dance Academy, students can pursue careers as professional dancers, at companies throughout the world, college level education opportunities in dance, and gain skills such as creativity, discipline and confidence for success in other fields. Emphasis on each student’s training is placed on the individual’s overall goal. It is through the nature of the mental and physical challenge of dance’s discipline that students develop habits, which can help the student excel in all areas of their lives. The dancer will work to develop critical components of dancing such as flexibility, strength, endurance, muscle memory, discipline, and attention to detail. Le Jeune Dance Academy holds a strong foundation in classical ballet technique and uses the Vaganova syllabus as its base to guide the student through the proper use of placement and progressive technique. Pre-Professional students are developed towards strong pointe work, suppleness, use of torso, and port de bras. Other ballet mythologies and modern dance technique are combined to prepare student for the demands and trends of the 21st century’s ballet and contemporary dance companies. Various other styles, master classes and dance opportunities are offered to create well rounded dancers.

What a day to remember! ☀️🌧️

With hope, prayers, lots of sunny positivity, and even a few Japanese teru teru bōzu (“no rain” dolls), the skies cleared just in time for an unforgettable Summer Dance Celebration!

We couldn’t be more proud of our incredible dancers and all of their hard work.

❤️ A strong front of community spirit.
The only thing we’re keeping an eye on is the weather! 🌦️ We’re hoping for a cooperative break in the forecast that gives us the perfect window to celebrate these dancers under the summer sky.
And if Mother Nature has other plans? We’ll do what dancers do best—we’ll be flexible, adapt, adjust, and keep the show moving!

Beautiful and powerful performances by Holly in Contemporary, and Annalie and Amelia in Classical. We are incredibly proud of all our Le Jeune Dancers for advancing through the competition. Holly has progressed to the 2nd Round, while Annalie and Amelia have advanced to the 3rd Round.
