Spooky season is upon us, but what is not spooky are our members’ profiles!! Today’s member highlight is Jose! Jose has been with DaytOn1 Salsa for a long while seeing many iterations of this group and the different venues we have been at.
Jose helps with checking in people at the door and sometimes he helps with teaching classes as well. By day, Jose is an Engineer at Wright Patt. We asked Jose if he considered himself more a Salsero or Bachatero and he said it’s hard for him to choose one. Jose leads in both Salsa and Bachata.

What do you enjoy about DaytOn1 Salsa?
The thing that I enjoy the most about DaytOn1 is the people. Seeing and dancing with the people I have met over the 10+ years I have been attending DaytOn1 classes brings joy to my heart. From our excellent teacher Heather to the newest student, it is just too much fun to share dancing moments with everyone. I also love the opportunity DaytOn1 has given me to invite everyone to my home to dance, either for a house party or to practice Rueda de Casino. I just love the connection, energy, and good vibes that DaytOn1 has brought to my life.
