Wonderful night celebrating our 2024 ETAS Awards Banquet!! …..When we are not a bass club, but one big family enjoying a special time together! Thanks to The Fusion Restaurant @ Ridgefields for a great menu and banquet room! We had great prizes for the ladies and young adults. 1 of our 2 top $50 gift card prizes went to James Davis’ wife Tasha, guessing the EXACT amount of candy in a jar, not just the closest, but nailed it spot on! 278. The other $50 card went to Brandon Akers’ wife Emily, guessing within 7 lbs. of the 918 total lbs of fish caught during the total season! Amazing job as well! Brandon won the grand prize- Quantum Smoke S3 reel donated by Danny Dixon. We had 3 nice rods donated by Junior Darnell that were raffled off and several other fishing gifts. All raffle $ will be donated to our State Fed team next season. Prez.’s grandson Miles worked taking up money and handing out raffle tickets; and he won a rod as well. We were blessed with a wonderful evening. Looking forward to the 2025 season. Schedule will be out late January, stay tuned.

Our 2024 season is in the books. And it was a hard fought one. Our State Federation team for next Spring will be our top 6 Points finishers. Congrats to all of them (listed on points sheet below). And a big congratulations to Scott Meade for winning the Season Points Championship and Jim Wrigley for winning our “Danny Dixon Angler of the Year” Championship! On to our Awards Banquet in December at The Fusion Restaurant.

Big congrats to our big CLASSIC Tournament winner, John Harrell! He was the only one to find 5 for a limit on Boone last Saturday! He finished 1st with 9.70, Scott Meade was 2nd with 9.45 and Big Fish 3.17, 3rd place went to Jim Wrigley with 5.94 lbs. Way to go guys!

We had our very 1st Big Fish Special Club Event Rodeo this past weekend. And it was Awesome! Rusty brought a smoked bologna loaf and everybody else brought the trimmings, sides, and desserts. We had some good fellowship between the 1st and 2nd legs when we got to come set down, eat, and just chat for an hour. Rusty had big small mouth and Brandon Akers had big largemouth in the first leg, Rusty had the only keeper in the 2nd leg. Congrats guys!
