We had the pleasure of volunteering at the Youth Field Day at North Montour Sportsman’s Club, helping teach young people the proper and SAFE way to handle and shoot a firearm.

It was wonderful watching these kids learn, build confidence, and understand the importance of firearm safety and responsibility.

We’re proud to help pass along these skills and traditions to the next generation.

🚨 WHAT DOES THE TEXAS SUPPRESSOR RULING MEAN FOR PENNSYLVANIA?

You may have seen recent headlines about a federal court ruling in Texas involving suppressors and the National Fi****ms Act (NFA).

So… does this mean you can walk into Fritzy’s and take a suppressor home without a Form 4?

👉 Not yet.

The Texas court ruled against certain federal NFA registration requirements after Congress reduced the federal tax on suppressors and several other NFA-regulated items to $0.

It’s an important ruling — and one we’re definitely watching — but it does NOT currently eliminate the Form 4 process for customers here in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania is in a different federal judicial circuit, and the existing federal transfer requirements remain in effect here.

For Fritzy’s customers, nothing changes right now:
• We continue processing suppressor transfers under the current ATF requirements.
• An approved Form 4 is still required before we can release your suppressor.
• The $0 federal tax and the Texas court ruling are two separate pieces of a much bigger legal picture.

⚖️ Could this eventually change suppressor purchases nationwide?

Possibly — and that’s what makes this case so significant. If the ruling survives appeals or ultimately results in a nationwide change, the suppressor purchasing process could look very different in the future.

But until that happens, Fritzy’s will continue following the law as it currently applies in Pennsylvania.

We’ll keep following this closely and let you know when something actually changes for PA customers — not just when an exciting headline hits Facebook. 😉
