History of the Bloomsburg Archery Club

The Bloomsburg Archery Club was founded July 18, 1957. The original club grounds were located in Fernville (23 acres just outside the town of Bloomsburg). Two years later the club outgrew its 23 acres and needed more room. Pleasant Township, just north of the town of Bloomsburg, was purchased to meet the needs of the growing club. The original farm house ser

ved as the clubhouse for nearly a decade. Then in 1967 the farm house was torn down and a concrete block building was erected. Although updated, the 24 x 40 building still serves as the clubhouse.

With the team money shoot coming up on Sunday the 14th we will not be able to host any other shooting on our other two courses. We will have our regular monthly shoot on the following Sunday the 21st.

Reminders: This evening at 6pm we will be meeting to discuss the Team Shootout in June and then have our regular meeting at 7pm. Hope to see you there!

Attention Members, we will be having a workday this coming Sunday, May 3rd at 9am. We will be working on clearing shooting lanes for the Money Team Shoot in June and just some general course cleanup. Hope to see you there even if you can only stop in for an hour or longer, any help is greatly appreciated!
