Look at us, posting a weekend recap early in the week! When you have a weekend like this, you don’t sit on it.
The fleet absolutely dominated, and frankly, the trophy case is begging for mercy. Here is how this chaos unfolded.

1 w/ Tyler: p1!!!🏆

74 w/ Johnny: p2!!

66 w/ Ryan: p2!! We were graced with the presence of the Missile on the track this week.

2 w/ Brock: p4!

The podium was heavily populated by our crew this week..plus can we talk about back to back heat race wins for Brock?!
Adding a congrats to Dreden on a p3 finish officially helping make KPM history with a 1-2-3 finish for the KP1 cars! 🤯 Seeing that happen for the first time ever is so special we might just frame the timing sheet.
An incredible weekend all around.

5/16 Recap

Short and sweet

2 w/ Brock, P3, solid run, led some laps

1 w/ Tyler, P4, solid top 5, passed some cars

74 w/ Johnny, P7, started deeper this week and didn’t make a lot of momentum forward but still showed some speed

Congratulations to The Berkheimers for there first regular 270 feature win on there KP1! Glad to call you customers and friends! And held off the best to do it!! 4 KP1 cars raced 2 weeks ago, the worst finish was Johnny in 7th, 3 in the top 5!

5/2/2026 Weekend Recap

2 weekends ago no one raced due to weather..

This past weekend we Headed to Greenwood Valley Action Tracks Saturday and the 270 matinee show Action Track USA on Sunday

Saturday:

74- won the heat, was leading the feature immediately on lap 1 and a misjudgment from a competitor cost us some parts and more than likely another win, fix it up and go again. Johnny is faster than ever though on our new package and it’s cool to see 🚀

1- 10-5 in the heat, 9-2 in the feature, runner up for Tyler, solid run w/ hard charger honors, after a not so stellar first night it seems as though we have Tyler up to the speed of the 74

66- first night back for Ryan in quite awhile, in our brand new Hyper Racing car, won the heat from 4th or 5th and had a hard battle all feature for the top spot with Parker Hendricks. Ended up 2nd but with a heat win and a runner up feature spot we’ll take it for night 1 on the new car

2- also the first night this year for Brock and the car, 4-2 in the heat race looking good for a redraw and the LF wheel left the chat. 17-8 in the feature while also picking up hard charger honors.

The KPM cars were fast Saturday and we hope to build on it

Sunday Tyler was the only one who ran, slight mishap in the heat made him restart 8th and finish 5th. In the feature he ran 5-3 giving us another top 3 on the weekend while showing similar speed to some very good cars we don’t always run against. Getting “out” to race some gives us benchmarks to show what our car is capable of. Running well against others is very important to us and very rewarding.

ALSO….heat wins never mean as much as a feature win, but it is progress and certainly shows the capability of running up front, that being said we want to thank Chason Hauck Motorsports and Lathan & Sean Good for representing us well. Since being on a kp1 this season they have allowed us to be “winners” of heat race action at Clyde Martin & Lindas w/ Chason, and Path Valley for the Goods! Great to see, keep digging fellas.

The 270s for 2026 are done ✅

Designed, built, assembled, lettered all in house.

Our nicest cars and best work to date, always improving.

Last week Johnny finished 2nd right out of the gate, then yesterday won the heat and put his brand new 2026 KP1 #74 house car right on the front stretch. Man what a way to come out. After all the work all winter, all the discussing, thinking etc, this feels great. We hope there’s a ton more on the way.

Tyler’s night in the #1 car could’ve went better but while running in the top 5 he pulled it in saving us a motor. Usually we run them until they quit, whether that’s good or bad, but on opening night for this car it was a good choice. We will take some of the “expiremental” stuff off, adjust to be more like the 74 and try again. It was a good night for notes and that’s a win also.

We do have 2 600s very near completion….It feels like we’ve been a little quiet but we’re super busy. And we haven’t missed a race and don’t intend to💪🏻 more to come out of our own shop though soon.

Happy Easter from KPM!

It was great being at the track last night, seeing all our hard work on the track and customers having great success at Greenwood Valley Action Tracks

We did not take any KPM cars but we did haul The Berkheimer’s KP1 and turned the wrenches for them

Dreden had a fantastic first night out going from the back of the heat to 2nd then ran from 6th or so to as high as 3rd having similar speed to the fastest guys that run there. Unfortunately an awesome run ended due to a broken trans gear

KPM should have some personal cars there next weekend.

We also have ALOT of decal work and shop updates to share as time allows
