Another Women’s Intro to the Outdoors event in the books! We had a smaller turnout this year however it made it easier to make sure all questions were answered and everyone was able to take turns at learning to shoot! We had 16 ladies including 3 young ladies attend who were eager to learn and get outdoors! Ladies learned about hiking/camping, trapping, calendula as a natural antibiotic, bass/trout fishing, turkey hunting, waterfowl hunting, and gun safety/shooting! Everyone went home with lots of info on a range of topics and some leads for where to get started!
Huge thank you to all of our presenters for taking time out of their day to help educate others, Orangeville Sportsmans Club for opening up their facility, donating the guns & ammo and assisting with shooting, delta waterfowl and American daughters of conservation for the information to gain access to first/mentored experiences, and of course all of the ladies who attended the event.
