Last Sunday, we shared a very special lakeside training session with our friends from Tora Martial Arts , led by Sensei Sarah Ward-Napier, who traveled all the way from Kentucky to join us.

We truly appreciate the time and effort you made to train with us. Thank you for bringing your incredible energy, friendship, and passion for karate!

We are so proud of every child and young athlete who embraced the challenge, trained hard, supported one another, and enjoyed every moment.

And a big thank-you to all the parents and families who joined us and made the day even more special! 🤍

🎤 Today’s challenge:
“How does Sensei’s KIAI sound?” 👀

We asked our Little Lions to imitate Sensei’s powerful KIAI:

KIAIIIIIIII! 🗣️🔥

Some were pretty convincing… 😂
Some understood the assignment. 😎
And some deserve a black belt already! 🥋🤣

And then…

🎬 THE REAL SENSEI ENTERED THE CHAT.

👨‍🏫: KIAIIIIIIIIIIII!!! 💥🔥

The kids: 😳
The camera: 🫨
Everyone else: 😂😂😂

We were NOT ready for the original! 🤣

At Altius, we train hard, challenge ourselves, build confidence… and have a little fun with our Sensei too! 😜🥋

Different ages.
Same KIAI.
Same champion spirit. 🔥

🎤 Pregunta del día:
“¿Por qué estás en Karate?”

Pensamos que íbamos a recibir respuestas profundas… 🤔

💭 “Porque me ayuda a superar mis límites.”
💭 “Porque quiero mejorar cada día.”
💭 “Porque aquí encontré una comunidad.”

Y entonces preguntamos…

👀 “¿Y tú?”

Las respuestas fueron…
digamos que 100% espontáneas. 😂

Porque en Altius no todo tiene que ser perfecto.
A veces entrenamos con disciplina.
A veces damos el 110%.
Y a veces simplemente respondemos lo primero que se nos pasa por la mente. 🤣

Pero detrás de cada respuesta hay algo que sí tenemos claro:

🥋 Estamos aquí para crecer.
💪 Para retarnos.
🤝 Para compartir.
🔥 Para convertirnos en una mejor versión de nosotros mismos.

Y sí… también para pasarla bien. 😎
