Getting a hole-in-one is a four-step process.
Step 1: Place ball on tee box (directly or on a tee).
Step 2: Swing club and hit ball.
Step 3: Watch ball go in cup.
Step 4: Celebrate!

David Howard of Minnetonka followed this recipe on May 31 when he aced hole 11 with his 9-iron from 125 yards out to become the fourth member of the 2026 Dwan Aces. Congratulations David! 🏌️⛳️

Meet Dwan. Not the golf course, the person! Dwan is from Florida and has embarked on a summer golf tour of America. He heard about Dwan Golf Course from a friend and on May 29, for reasons that seem pretty obvious, he made us his only tour stop in the Twin Cities. Now, we're not saying he's our favorite guest so far this season...but we're not not saying it either. 😉

One thing Dwan didn't do at Dwan is get a hole-in-one. But two guests did join the 2026 Dwan Aces recently. On May 12, Nathan Grochow of Bloomington got a hole-in-one on number 8 from 175 yards with his 8-iron. Janice Jaworski of Mendota Heights aced hole 18 on May 28 using her 5 Rescue club from 118 yards. Congratulations! ️‍🏌️

Whether your goal is to play Dwan for fun (like Dwan) or to join the Dwan Aces (like Nathan and Janice), the only way to accomplish it is to make a tee time at blm.mn/dwan. ⛳️

In golf, the saying "an ace in the hole" is redundant because an ace always lands in the hole. On May 8, celebration (not redundancy) was on the mind of Mark Rodgers of Richfield as he took one swing of his pitching wedge from the tee box on hole 11 and watched the ball land in the cup for a hole-in-one! 🏌️⛳️

Birdies aren't the only ones with wings at Dwan Golf Course! Join the NWA Ladies 9-hole League for some fun competition on Mondays with tee times starting around 4:15 p.m. Openings remain for individual spots on several teams plus substitutes. Dwan Golf Course will open for the 2026 season on Saturday, March 28! The first available tee time will be at 11 a.m. The tee sheet opens Wednesday, March 25 at 10 a.m. for guests to view and begin reserving tee times. Guests may book tee times online (pre-paid) at blm.mn/dwan, by phone at 952-563-8702, or in person at the Dwan clubhouse, 3301 W. 110th St. ⛳️

IMPORTANT NOTE:
• To receive the Patron Card Holder rate, you must purchase your 2026 Patron Card BEFORE reserving a tee time.
• All members of the party who wish to receive the Patron Card Holder rate must also have purchased their Patron Card before the tee time is reserved, regardless of who makes the reservation.
• To purchase Patron Cards, call 952-563-8702 and pay with a card over the phone or visit the clubhouse golf shop to buy in person.
• Patron Card Holders may book 10 days in advance. Public players may book 7 days in advance.
